The gate valve refers to a valve opened or closed with its closing member (the disc wedge) moving perpendicularly along the passageway axis. It is mainly used for switching on or switching off the medium within pipelines, that is, it is used in a full open or close manner. Lower requirements on the sealing face angle precision.
The disc wedging phenomenon is not liable to be caused when the temperature rises.
Compensation can be realized through addition of gaskets when the sealing face is abraded.
In the medium with a high viscosity, bonding phenomenon will be easily caused, thus affecting the tightness.
Using the upper and lower flaps for a long time will generate rusting, making the the disc to be liable to fall off .
