The two sealing faces of a slab gate valve are perpendicular to the pipeline axis, that is, it is a gate valve with two sealing faces parallel to each other; its closing member can be a single disc or a double discs valve equipped with a stretching mechanism. As the disc slides on two seats faces, the through conduit gate valve is applicable for the medium with particles in suspension, and featured with good flowing adjusting function.
From the aspect of structure style, the through conduit gate valve can be divided into two types of valves with diversion holes and valves without any diversion hole.
